History of the Fort Wayne Women's
Golf Association
The Fort Wayne Women's Golf Association (FWWGA), established in 1931, has been a cornerstone in promoting women's golf and fostering sportsmanship in the Fort Wayne, Indiana community. As one of the oldest women's golf organizations in the region, the FWWGA has played a pivotal role in encouraging female participation in the sport.

A highlight of the FWWGA's annual calendar is the Women's City Golf Tournament, a tradition that has been upheld for over nine decades. This event not only showcases local talent but also brings together women golfers of varying skill levels, reinforcing the association's commitment to inclusivity and community engagement.
